Troupe likes five schools
Temple, Texas safety Tony Troupe has no offers yet, but several schools are staying in touch.
“Things are going alright on the recruiting scene,” the 6-foot, 180-pound Troupe said. “I don’t have any scholarship offers, but several schools are sending me quite a bit of mail after talking to me in May.”

Those schools include Arizona, Kansas, Colorado, SMU and New Mexico.
“None of them have said an offer was coming or anything,” he said. “But, I would imagine at some point it will happen. I have a lot of interest in those schools.”
Troupe has not been to any camps this summer, but has been working on improving.
“I have not gone anywhere,” he said. “I have been working out here and trying to improve. I’m looking forward to this fall.”
Troupe is not set on staying near home for college.
“Where the school is makes no difference to me,” he said. “I wouldn’t mind getting away from home, but I don’t mind being around if it works out that I’m near here. I just want to find a place that I can play. I want a chance to get on the field. That is the biggest item I am looking for.”
