Trojans offer DE Williams

Recently Ishaq Williams picked up offers from Oklahoma and UConn, and now another program has put a scholarship on the table.
It just so happens that the school that has offered is a big name in the college football world.

Southern Cal's coaching staff is impressed with the 6-foot-6, 220-pound defensive end from Brooklyn (N.Y.) Abraham Lincoln, and they have decided to give him an offer.
"Yes it's true," Williams confirmed early Thursday evening. "I found out today after classes finished. My coach told me they wanted to talk to me and that's when they hit me with the big one (news).
"This was the first time I had spoke with them. I spoke to the defensive coordinator, the recruiting coach for this area and I spoke to the defensive line coach."
Will the New York junior be considering the Pac 10 program?
"Yes, they're a very prestigious school," he said. "My family, my coach and I are going to have a conversation about which schools we're going to be visiting (officially), but I don't know yet."
Williams thinks he will be making a trip to UConn in the near future.
