Trojans making run for three-star corner

Three-star cornerback Anthony Gildon (6-0, 180, 4.45) from Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian is seeing his stock rising through the roof. The talented Gildon has been a long time Oregon commit, but the red hot corner is still being recruited and he received a huge offer just yesterday.
"USC offered Anthony yesterday," Oaks Christian coach Bill Reddell said. "I don't know what he's going to do yet, but I think he's probably going to stick with Oregon."

"Anthony deserves everything he gets," Reddell said. "He's worked and has made huge strides from last year to the present moment."
"Anthony is very underrated," Reddell said. "I don't know if he's the best cornerback in the nation, but if he's not, I would like to see who is better."
Gildon has the stereotypical lockdown cover corner this season. He already has five interceptions and has been glue in coverage. He also approximately has 20 tackles from his corner position.
Besides Oregon and USC, some of the other schools that have offered Gildon a scholie are Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Michigan, Northwestern, Nebraska, UNLV, San Diego State, Utah, and Arizona.
More on this developing story later.
