Trojans land elite 2011 DT

The fax machines are still receiving Letters of Intent from stars from prospects in the Class of 2010 on the campus at USC, but the Trojans are already getting a jump on building another strong recruiting class for 2011.
Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft defensive tackle Antwaun Woods gave his verbal commitment to USC and announced his plans to sign with the Trojans on Signing Day 2011.

"I just committed to USC right now," Woods said. "I love the new staff. At first I wasn't so sure about the new staff, then I talked with Lane Kiffin and I really like the guy. Monte (Kiffin) and Coach O (Ed Orgeron) are great."
Woods says he is excited about the future of the program under the new staff.
"It's a new era for USC and I am excited to help get it started with this class," he said. "I can't wait to play for Coach O and coach Kiffin. They are amazing."
Woods said he had offers from UCLA, Cal, Washington, Florida, Tennessee and Michigan.
