Trojans continue their winning ways

The USC Trojans continued their recruiting onslaught by nabbing another one of the Golden State’s best linebacker prospects in Jonathan Turner (6-3, 240, 4.75) from Corona, Calif. Is USC hot or what? Is there any doubt that SC is back?
Once again Turner led his team in tackles with approximately 130 stops. He also had six caused fumbles and six and a half sacks. His six caused fumbles will give you an indication of what kind of hitter Turner is.

Turner had 112 tackles as a sophomore in 11 games and followed up that performance with a 103 tackle junior season in ten games. He is a two-time all-league selection and was also all-county and League defensive MVP as a junior.
In an earlier interview with Corona head coach John Brandum said, “Jonathan will be a starter all three seasons he has played the game. He is a man amongst boys.” That’s right folks Turner has only been playing football for three years and he has made an impact in all three.
According Brandum, Turner likes the direction the USC program going in. Brandon also mentioned that Turner likes the USC coaches and the fact that USC is close to home.
The Washington Huskies according to Brandum were the Trojans biggest competition for Turner.
Turner had offers from the likes of Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Washington State and Colorado.
