Trice closing in on offer

Wide receiver Nick Trice is inching closer to his first scholarship offer.
The 6-foot-2, 183-pound Killeen (Texas) Harker Heights prospect, since moving to Texas from Germany, has seen his college mail count increase daily. The nation's top programs such as Miami, Ohio State, Alabama, Penn State, and more have been sending mail to his house giving him the impression that an offer could be coming any day now.

It's one school close to home that he feels the most confident about.
"Oklahoma State seems very close," Trice said. "They send me stuff all the time. I'd have to say right now they're recruiting me the hardest. They pretty much told me that they're just waiting on the go-ahead from their head coach.
"I guess it could be coming any time now."
Even though OSU may be close and other schools are showing vast amounts of interest, Trice says that things are all even.
"I don't have anything solid with favorites yet," he said. "I can't really narrow it down yet because I haven't visited too many colleges to compare things."
Trice says Kansas State and Alabama are also sending vast amounts of mail which makes him think those two schools may be jumping in the mix soon as well.
