Tribbey wants more time

Richmond (Va.) Varina defensive tackle Bud Tribbey told us earlier on Monday that he committed to Syracuse that afternoon. The only thing he had left to do was to call the coaches and let them know. However, now it seems that the 6-foot-0, 280-pounder has had second thoughts.
"I know he was very excited coming back from his trip to Syracuse," his coach Blanda Wolfe said. "He liked everything he saw there and was seriously considering committing to them today, but he hasn't called the coaches there and given his pledge. He's still thinking about things and would like to take one more visit before he decides."
The lineman prospect is looking to visit the Hokies this weekend.

"He wants to see Virginia Tech one more time," Wolfe said. "I know he is going to try to get up to Blacksburg sometime this weekend. If he can't make it this weekend, I'm not sure if he'll decide."
The two-star prospect earned all-district, region and metro honors after registering 44 tackles, 10 for loss and four sacks as a junior.
