Travis Thomas comments on latest trip

Running back Travis Thomas of Washington, Pa. took his third official visit, this one to Northwestern. How did the Wildcats stack up?
"I just didn’t get a good feeling when I was there," said the 6-foot-1, 200-pounder who already tripped to Purdue (Oct. 18) and Notre Dame (Nov. 1). "Don't get me wrong, Northwestern is a beautiful place, but I just don’t think it's for me."
Thomas, who has now been on three official visits, was looking for a little different atmosphere when at Northwestern.
"To me, it just didn’t seem to be that big of a social life on campus. The reason I'm taking all of my visits is so that I can compare schools, that's why you take official visits. I'm going to Iowa this weekend (Nov. 22) and Boston College on Dec. 6."
Travis will take his last two visits and then decide between Purdue, Notre Dame, Iowa and Boston College.
"I’m down to a final four right now. I like both Purdue and Notre Dame, but I'm looking forward to visiting Iowa and BC."
Does Travis have a favorite?
"Not right now, I'm open. I think I'll be ready to decide after my last visit."
