The transfer portal never stops with the excitement. Last week, a day after he decommitted from Miami-Ohio, Northwestern running back transfer Isaiah Bowser found a new home at UCF.
Recruiting: On the day he received his offer from Northwestern he trimmed his list of top schools to six and announced he would be making his final decision three days later. On that day in June he committed to the Wildcats over offers from Buffalo, Cincinnati, Indiana State, Miami (Ohio), Ohio and Western Michigan.
At Northwestern: Bowser rushed for 1,300 yards and seven touchdowns with the Wildcats. He added 22 receptions for 153 yards and one touchdown.
Farrell’s Take: Bowser is another nice addition for UCF here as the Knights are killing it in the portal these days under Gus Malzahn. He's a churner who can get extra yards after contact but also a guy who can work out of the backfield and catch some passes. The way Malzahn ran his offense at Auburn appears to be a very good fit for Bowser who runs with power and has excellent lower body strength. He's a depth guy who will push for carries.
