The transfer portal never stops grinding. On Thursday, Maliq Carr of Purdue, a 2020 four-star wide receiver, entered the portal. The big, athletic receiver is yet another intriguing option for schools.

Recruiting: Carr had upwards of 30 offers when he trimmed his list down to Purdue and Georgia before committing to the Boilermakers during his senior season. Purdue had been considered the favorite for several months.
At Purdue: During his true freshman season in West Lafayette, Carr finished with one reception for 15 yards.
Potential landing spots: Michigan State is considered the landing spot for Carr, who plans to play both football and basketball for the Spartans. No other schools are involved at this time.
Farrell’s Take: He has excellent size and is an amazing athlete so this would be a big deal for Michigan State depending on whether he focuses on football enough. With his head in the game in football he can be a weapon that is hard to stop and is one of the bigger WR gets from the portal.
