Transfer Tracker: 2020 4-star DB enters portal

The transfer portal never stops moving. On Wednesday morning, Florida's Jahari Rogers, a 2020 4-star cornerback, officially made himself available.

Recruiting: Rogers took spring official visits to Florida, Texas and Arkansas, and also considered Notre Dame, LSU and Oklahoma, before committing to the Gators during the summer leading up to his senior season. This came down to the Gators and Longhorns.

At Florida: Rogers redshirted during his true freshman season in Gainesville. He did see playing time against Alabama, Missouri and Oklahoma, totaling two tackles and a pass breakup.

Potential landing spots: While it is early, Rogers should have plenty of options. West Virginia, Texas Tech, Texas, UCF, Minnesota and Nebraska are just some of the schools who have already shown interest.

Farrell’s Take: Rogers has good size and was heavily recruited out of high school so interest is already off the charts. He could head back closer to home as he was a huge get for the Gators from Texas but he will have his choice of anyplace in the country. With a redshirt year under his belt he has a chance to come in to the right fit and battle for a starting job right away.
