Transfer is getting love

Cornerback/wide receiver Anthony Houston from (6-4, 200, 4.53) from San Diego (Calif.) Mission Bay high school isn't the only prospect who has been attracting visitors from D-I schools over the last two weeks. There are at least four other prospects getting looks from colleges.
One of them is offensive tackle Brian Agnis (6-4, 315, 5.2) who transferred from Arizona.

"Every school that has come by this spring has shown interest in Brian," Mission Bay coach in charge of recruiting Rolando Garcia said. "Every school is asking for his transcripts. That is a good sign."
Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Oregon, Nebraska, Kansas, TCU, Boise State, San Diego State, and Nevada are a sampling of schools that are showing interest.
Colorado has already called.
"We saw some film on Brian when he was in Arizona a year ago," Garcia said. "He can use a little work on his technique but he is a road grader."
"Brian has a tremendous work ethic," Garcia said. "He hasn't missed a workout since he's been here."
In an earlier interview with Rivals.com Mission Bay head coach Dennis Pugh had the following to say about his new offensive lineman.
"There is no doubt in my mind that Brian is going to be big time," Pugh said. "We saw him on film and we're very impressed. He is a big, strong kid."
"The thing that I'm impressed about him is he weighs 315 pounds and is very fit," Pugh said. "He's not one of those guys who have a lot fat on him. He has a thick frame and carries his weight well."
Agnis benches 330 and squats a very impressive 525. He also gets the job done in the classroom and carries a very impressive 3.5 GPA.
