Town talks newest offer

Ricky Town landed his first offer from Miami and it was a big one when he visited with the Hurricanes a few weeks ago.
In the last few days, the 2015 quarterback from Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure picked up his first Pac-12 offer when UCLA came through.

Another big offer for the sophomore quarterback who said he's thrilled the Bruins offered and he's hoping to stay in close touch with the coaching staff.
Town, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound prospect, is even planning an unofficial visit to UCLA in the coming weeks.
"I thought it was pretty cool," Town said. "I had been talking to the coach and then I called coach (Noel) Mazzone and they offered me.
"I definitely like UCLA. It's a great school. It's a beautiful campus too. I'm going there in November when they play Arizona so I'm going with a couple teammates to watch the game.
"I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to keep looking at all my different options. It's a great school and they produce a bunch of good quarterbacks."
UCLA and Miami have offered and Town said Boston College, Michigan and a few other programs have also been in contact.
The Ventura St. Bonaventure quarterback is overjoyed that his recruitment has already gotten busy but he plans to take his time because he's so young and so much more could happen.
He still isn't through with his sophomore season.
"I'm really excited that I'm so young and this is happening," Town said. "Being so young in my career I think that's great."
