Town has outstanding ACC trip

Ricky Town recently camped at Miami and loved his visit there as the 2015 quarterback is just getting involved in the recruiting process.
The Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure prospect said he had a great time meeting with coach Al Golden and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch and the Hurricanes really made an impression on him.

"Miami was awesome," Town said.
"I spent a long time meeting with coach Fisch.. I asked if I could draw some plays and concepts on the board and he said sure. That went really well as he said he was very impressed and somewhat shocked from my understanding of the mental side of the game, regardless of my age."
Town, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound prospect who shined at the recent Southern Cal Rivals.com Showcase Powered by FBU Select, said Miami will continue to show interest in him and see how his sophomore season goes.
There is mutual interest for sure and Town said Boston College and some others are also getting involved.
"(Fisch) said they had no plans of offering a 2015 quarterback but that my efforts have changed that," Town said. "He said 48 hours ago he had never heard of me and now I am a topic in their meetings.
"He also said they are heavily recruiting me and guaranteed they will offer me this year. They just want to see me play so coach Fisch is coming to one of my games this year. They also want me to come to a Miami game as well. I really like their coaches and they are awesome people. Coach Fisch and coach Golden were very direct with me and I appreciated that."
