The feeling is that Green
will stay close to home.
Rank: No. 19 overall, No. 3 strongside defensive end
Recruiting Wrap: Green took an unofficial visit to
Oregon this summer and went back to Eugene in October so the Ducks are
definitely one of the schools if he leaves home that would be considered. Green
visited Miami this past weekend for the Florida State thriller
so taking a trip during the playoffs shows the five-star is serious about the
Hurricanes as well. A trip to Stanford could happen, too, and then
Green is working on his final destinations which could be local or he could take
some visits out-of-state. The feeling is, though, in the end that Green will
stay close to home and the Serra pipeline to USC could be majorly attractive.
Favorite: USC

OLB
John Houston
Gardena (California) Junipero Serra
The Sun Devils have emerged as a surprise
contender for Houston.
Rank: No. 25 overall, No. 2 outside linebacker
Recruiting Wrap: Houston took his first official visit to
Oregon recently and many believe if there is a team that could steal him away
from USC it would be the Ducks. A whole round of trips has to take place first
before Houston makes any decisions though. The five-star LB was at Miami this
past weekend with Green so that could be a possibility. He will visit
Arizona State, USC and Oklahoma over the next month. The Sun Devils
have emerged as a surprise contender especially since he has family in the area
and they're playing so well save for Saturday's upset at Oregon State.
USC is still the team to beat, though, and it has been for a while.

WR
Christian Kirk
Scottsdale (Arizona) Saguaro
Arizona State and Texas A&M are considered to
be the favorites for Kirk.
Rank: No. 29 overall, No. 3 wide receiver
Recruiting Wrap: Kirk was once thought to be a near lock for
Texas A&M. That is not the case these days. Both Arizona State and Auburn are in
the thick of the mix, Kirk's family would prefer he stay close to their
Arizona-based home and the Sun Devils' success on the field has made that option
viable. The fact that Kirk was on an official visit with the Sun Devils thumped
Notre Dame certainly didn't hurt the hometown team's chances. The allure of
Auburn and its success in the SEC is also a draw for Kirk, who was blown away by
his visit to the campus early in the fall. A&M is still certainly a player for
Kirk's commitment, but the Aggies have plenty of company at the top of the
five-star's list.

OLB
Keisean
Lucier-South
Orange (California) Lutheran
Lucier-South has already visited Michigan,
Oklahoma and Oregon.
Rank: No. 30 overall, No. 3 outside linebacker
Recruiting Wrap: Lucier-South got a jumpstart on his official
visits through the season since he's already been to Oklahoma, Michigan
and Oregon. He has called Michigan his dream school but with the coaching
turmoil there the Wolverines trail although a major new hire could spark
interest again. His trips to Oregon and Oklahoma both went very well and both
programs have climbed up his list. Lucier-South plans to take his official visit
to UCLA later this month and it could be huge. The Bruins have compared him to
Anthony Barr and the ability to play early is a huge factor for the
five-star. A fifth official visit to USC could make things interesting but the
Trojans are on the outside looking in.
