Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, LSU, Florida, UCLA, Michigan and Arkansas are colleges, that he is considering.
He will make an official visit to West Virginia for the Virginia Tech game and will make announce his official commitment on February 7th, the official signing day.
When asked about distance he said, "I have mixed emotions about that. I want to stay close, but then again I don't want to stay close."
"I'm looking for a throwing offense and a school that puts the ball up eighty percent of the time and I want to play my freshman year. I don't want to red shirt at all," Jones said.
West Virginia was the only camp he attended this year. He is a Florida fan.
If he had to make his official visits, they would be to the following (his comments follow):
Oklahoma - "Everything about them is great. They run the same offense, so all I'd have to learn is the terminology. It's close to home and they are the defending national champions."
Texas - "The offense and the 2 receivers they have there are what I like about them. I can contribute right away there. It's close and they have good facilities."
Texas A&M - "I want to learn more about them. I think I could contribute right away there."
Florida - "They are in the top 10 on a regular basis and the state is a beach basically. I like to whole state. It's receiver heaven with all the passes winging around there."
Michigan - "David Terrell was great and it would be great to follow him there. I could probably contribute and start very soon there."
Broderic said of his strong points - "I have good hands, soft hands and I make the difficult catch. I have good body control when I have to go after one and I run good routes."
He described himself as - "A Chris Carter and Randy Moss combined type player. I have the good hands and routes of Carter and I can go get it like Moss."
