Top rush end picks NC State

Defensive end Littleton Wright was one of several top recruits at NC State over the weekend and what he saw impressed him. In fact, he decided to go ahead and make his choice.
"I felt really comfortable around the players at NC State, so that's why I'm going to go to school there," said the 6-foot-6, 245-pound lineman from Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna College. "They made me feel at home and I had a really good time with them."

How does Wright see himself fitting in with the Wolfpack?
"They really like my size and the potential I have as a defensive lineman," he said. "They have about six defensive ends as of right now that are going to play a lot next year, and they want to rotate in even more than that to keep everyone fresh. I feel like I can come in and make an early contribution. They think I can keep growing and bulking up, but I'll start out as a weakside defensive end for them."
What other schools was Wright considering?
"Other than NC State I was mainly looking at West Virginia, UConn and Missouri," he said. "They all interested me, but when I went to NC State I knew it was the place for me. I feel like they've got a good program and they're doing a great job developing defensive players."
Wright is a three-star prospect and one of the top defensive ends in the Keystone State.
