Top program has fine duo

Cincinnati (Ohio) Elder has won the big school state championship two years in a row and two players who had a big part in the latest championship are Eric Kenkel and Craig Carey .
The 6-foot-3 and 230 pound Kenkel was an all-conference selection playing everywhere along the defensive line. Carey, a 6-foot-4 and 210 pounder, caught 32 passes playing tight end, but will move to quarterback his senior season.

"Obviously a lot of schools are sending a lot of mail," Elder head coach Doug Ramsey said of his two standouts. "They don't have any early offers, but they might when May rolls around."
"They both went down to a junior day at UC. They went to the Cincinnati-Louisville basketball game."
"Cincinnati, some Big Ten, and the MAC schools are showing interest."
