Just one day after Conway Springs coach Mark Bliss said a decision might not come until after all five of his official visits had occurred, the 6-foot-6, 252-pound Barbo has made his decision.
"I have committed to Missouri," Barbo said. "I called them last night to tell them. It was just the right place for me. I'm relieved to have this process over. It wasn't an easy decision to make."
Barbo visited several schools this summer making five camps in five days and six overall. Those six were Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Missouri.
"From the first time I went there, I kind of knew it was the place," Barbo said. "I had a special feeling when I was there."
"It wasn't an easy decision though. So many good schools, but I feel good about my choice."
Barbo had narrowed his choices down to three schools recently - Missouri, Oklahoma State and Colorado State - before making his final decision.
