Top performers: National Select 7-on-7 Championships

Recruiting Wrap: Metcalf is committed to Ole Miss and is still being strongly
pursued by Alabama.
Performance: It was an excellent day for Metcalf, who saw at least a double-team
in pretty much every game he played, but it didn't stop him from dominating for
long stretches. His combination of size and speed makes him an impossible matchup for the great majority of corners and, to make matters even worse, it
seemed as if he caught every pass that came his way.

DB
P.J. Hall
Hoover, Ala.
Recruiting Wrap: Louisville is Hall's current leader.
Performance: Hoover is the host of the tournament and Hall looked very much at
home during Friday's play. His Hoover team allowed just 90 points in seven
games, and he spent most of that time covered the opposition's best wide
receiver. He doesn't have ideal height but he easily makes up for it with his
speed and strength.
4
DB
Derrik Allen (2018)
Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter
Recruiting Wrap: Allen has offers from Auburn, Georgia,
Clemson and several
others.
Performance: When it came to cornerbacks, you would be hard pressed to find a
guy who played better than Allen on Friday. Going against the opposition's top
wide receiver in nearly every game didn't phase Allen, whose length combined
with his technique make him a perfect lockdown corner. A few schools are already
on his list but, by the time it's all said and done, Allen will have his pick
when it comes to college football's power programs.

WR
Nico Collins (2017)
Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville
Recruiting Wrap: Collins recently picked up an LSU offer and will visit the Tigers
soon. Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss are also heavily in the mix for Collins.
Performance: Collins was very impressive on the day, using his length and
leaping ability to give smaller defensive backs fits. He ran good routes and was
consistent catching the ball, especially when it mattered most in the red zone.
Once he can add some more weight to his long frame, he will be even tougher for
defenders to deal with.
6
WR
T.J. Simmons
Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville
Recruiting Wrap: Simmons is committed to Alabama.
Performance: Simmons has a terrific build at 6-foot-1 and 190-plus pounds and he
used his strength to shed jams at the line of scrimmage. He made his bones
getting open on short and intermediate routes, finding holes in the defense and
providing his quarterback with a security blanket, especially on must-get
yardage. His skills, combined with Collins, made for quite an impressive
offensive showing.
7
DB
Rakeem Hightower
Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County
Recruiting Wrap: Hightower has offers from Arkansas,
UCF, Kentucky and several
others.
Performance: Hightower was one of the stalwarts of a Colquitt County defense
that allowed just 106 points in seven games, the third-least of any team in the
32-team field. He has a solid build and great length and always seems to be in
the right place at the right time. Several schools joined the fold for Hightower
in the spring and several more could follow if he starts off his senior year the
way he played on Friday.
8
LB
Josh Brown
Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek
Recruiting Wrap: Brown is committed to Florida State.
Performance: Brown is listed in the Rivals.com database as a defensive end, but
it looks like his future is as a stand up, athletic outside linebacker. He was
impressive in coverage and even though contact isn't allowed after the catch,
his presence in the middle was enough for some wide receivers to avoid coming
his way.
9
QB
Chase Brice (2017)
Loganville (Ga.) Grayson
Recruiting Wrap: Brice has offers from Clemson, Kentucky, West Virginia and
several others. He recently camped at Alabama.
Performance: Brice is a terrific 7-on-7 quarterback because once he gets into a
rhythm, he can pick a defense apart. While Grayson only finished the day at 4-3,
Brice showed the accuracy and arm strength that has made him a coveted prospect
over the past few months.
10
QB
Jarrett Guarantano
Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic
Recruiting Wrap: Guarantano is committed to Tennessee.
Performance: It was a solid day for Guarantano, who really impressed with his
ability to connect with his wide receivers on deep balls. The only problem for
him was that his No. 1 target had to leave the action early after suffering an
injury, leaving him without his go-to guy for most of the day. Since it was pool
play he also rotated with his backup, but when he was on the field he showed
exactly why he's one of the nation's top quarterbacks.
11
QB
Austin Scott
Spartanburg, S.C.
Recruiting Wrap: Scott is waiting on his first offer.
Performance: Scott was locked in on Friday and was one of the biggest reasons
his team stormed through the tournament to finish undefeated. He showed terrific
accuracy and excellent decision-making, always finding the right receiver in the
right spot. Scott has the talent to play FBS football, it's just a matter
of the right opportunity coming along.
12
WR
Marlon Williams (2017)
Mobile (Ala.) McGill-Toolen
Recruiting Wrap: The three-star has early offers from Southern Miss,
Troy and
South Alabama.
Performance: Mobile is known for producing high-level talent and it looks as if
Williams could be the next major recruit to come out of the city. While he only
has some non-Big Five offers, at 6-feet tall and 190 pounds, he already looks
the part of a college wide receiver. He ran crisp routes and made several big
plays when his team needed him the most and was a big part of why his squad
finished the day undefeated.
13
WR
Josh Imatorbhebhe
Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett
Recruiting Wrap: Imatorbhebhe is committed to USC.
Performance: Outside of Metcalf, there wasn't a more physically impressive wide
receiver at the event than Imatorbhebhe. He started the day by making several
big plays and while he slowed by the time things wrapped up, it's easy to see
why he's ranked as one of the nation's top wide receivers.
14
DB
Malique Fleming
Hillsboro, Tenn.
Recruiting Wrap: Fleming is committed to Mercer.
Performance: Fleming jumped on the opportunity to play for Mercer after the
school offered recently but he continues to show at major events that he's more
than capable of playing at the FBS level. He has good size, long arms and is
very physical at the line of scrimmage and he showed good instincts while
covering down the field as well.
15
DB
C.J. Terrell (2018)
Oxford, Miss.
Recruiting Wrap: Terrell is waiting for his first offer.
Performance: Just a rising sophomore Terrell was eager to prove that he could
hang with some of the event's top wide receivers and he showed off some
impressive instincts while making several plays on the ball. At 5-foot-8, Terrell
is a little undersized, but he has a solid build and excellent speed that make
him a solid prospect.
16
WR
Clark Kent (2017)
Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter
Recruiting Wrap: Kent is waiting on his first offer.
Performance: Kent was a major part of Lassiter's successful day, making several
impressive catches including a diving snag on a deep ball that sealed a victory
late in the day. Kent has great hands and has the trust of his quarterback,
something that can be vital in a 7-on-7 setting.
17
WR
Jimmy Greaser
Oxford, Miss.
Recruiting Wrap: Greaser is waiting on his first offer.
Performance: With so much attention on Metcalf, Greaser was often met with
single coverage. The teams that thought Greaser wouldn't hurt them were sorely
mistaken, as he made catch after catch and even showed some impressive moves in
space to avoid defenders.
18
TE
Zechariah Byrd (2017)
Millbrook (Ala.) Stanhope Elmore
Recruiting Wrap: Byrd is waiting on his first offer.
Performance: Standing at 6-foot-6 it's hard to miss Byrd when he's on the field
and his quarterback looked his way several times during the day. Byrd looks
relatively new to football but with his size and leaping ability, he's a natural
to play the tight end position. If he can keep developing and have a solid
junior season, his offer sheet should grow.
