Top Performers: Baylor camp

Recruiting Wrap: Davis holds around 20 scholarship offers, including ones from Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Colorado.
Performance: Davis was right there pushing Ausbon for the top spot at receiver. The 6-foot-1, 181-pound standout looks the part and immediately caught attention. His footwork and crisp routes held attention throughout drills. Then when one-on-ones began, he continued his strong performance as he made catch after catch.

WR
Brandon Taylor
Friendswood (Tex.) Clear Brook
Recruiting Wrap: Taylor is receiving interest from Houston and Northwestern
Performance: A case could be made for Taylor to be at the top of the list. His speed was too much for every defender and he showed he was more than just some track guy with straight line speed. He ran crisp routes, made strong cuts, handled physical play with ease, and of course he finished with several big receptions.
4
RB
Toneil Carter (2017)
Houston (Tex.) Langham Creek
Recruiting Wrap: Carter has received scholarship offers from powerhouse programs across the country.
Performance: At 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, Carter is powerful and effortless all at the same time. His quick feet allow him to make quick cuts and make even the quickest of defenders struggle to keep up with his moves. He keeps his pad level low and his quick burst allows him to hit the hole with power and speed.
5
TE
Brock Wright (2017)
Cypress (Tex.) Cy-Fair
Recruiting Wrap: Wright has been a hot prospect with offers arriving from LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Texas and Texas A&M, to name a few.
Performance: It did not take long to spot Wright. His long arms and big frame stood out as he worked with the tight ends. It is easy to see why so many colleges are already tripping over themselves to offer the standout tight end, and that was even before he took a rep. Once he started running routes and catching passes it only only become more clear. He also worked well during blocking drills and is a candidate to be the most well-rounded tight end of 2017.

DT
Lorenzo Neal
Houston (Tex.) St. Thomas
Recruiting Wrap: Boise State is currently at the top of Neal's list.
Performance: Neal is a big body in the trenches and he really started to shine during one-on-one drills. It was during one-on-ones where his competitive side jumped to the top of the list. His first step was explosive and he used it to overwhelm his first few opponents. He also showed some strong hands and he used both to win the great majority of his reps.
7
OT
Anthonie Thomas
Houston (Tex.) Madison
Recruiting Wrap: Thomas is receiving interest from several schools but is waiting for his first scholarship offers.
Performance: Anthonie Thomas was a standout on Sunday at Baylor's camp in Waco, and he also impressed in Houston. He continues to develop but it is clear his footwork has dramatically improved in a short time period. The 6-foot-7, 300-pound tackle also showed off his hands as he drove a smaller opponent about 10 yards down the line during one-on-ones.
8
OT
Travis Bruffy
Missouri City (Tex.) Fort Bend Ridge Point
Recruiting Wrap: Bruffy holds offers from Texas Tech, Rice, Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Lafayette.
Performance: Bruffy has a lot to work with. He has a huge frame and plenty of room for growth. He showed improved flexibility and he did a great job of keeping his pad level down. He was tough to beat and he was able to get inside position with his hands and drive multiple opponents during one-on-one drills.
9
CB
Chris Wilson (2017)
Dickinson (Tex.).
Recruiting Wrap: Baylor, Houston, TCU, Texas and SMU have expressed an interest in Wilson.
Performance: Wilson is a big defensive back capable of playing both safety and cornerback. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound defender was on his game Monday evening. His quick feet allowed him to keep up with smaller receivers and his size helped him handle the more physical play of bigger bodied pass catchers. Overall it was a strong performance.
10
S
Jalen Pitre (2017)
Stafford (Tex.)
Recruiting Wrap: Pitre has received interest from Baylor, Nebraska, TCU, Texas A&M and Texas State.
Performance: Pitre has bit of a stocky build at 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds. He likes to get physical on the field, but he showed he was more than capable of blanket coverage. His hips allow him to make quick transitions and he showed great burst coming out of his breaks.
11
PQB
Connor Blumrick (2017)
Pearland (Tex.)
Recruiting Wrap: The recruiting process is in the beginning stages for Blumrick.
Performance: Blumrick has great size at 6-foot-5 and 190 pounds, and he threw the football with authority Monday night. His release point could be higher, but he put plenty of zip on the ball. He threw the tightest and most consistent spiral of anyone at the camp and he showed he could put it deep with accuracy.
12
S
Grant Delpit (2017)
Houston (Tex.) St. Thomas
Recruiting Wrap: Delpit has an offer from Alabama State.
Performance: Delpit has a long and lean build and he uses his long arms to close on the ball and make a play. He has a smooth stride and he showed tremendous range throughout the day. He did a nice job of high pointing the ball and getting in position to make a play in one-on-one drills, and he was also a standout during position drills.
13
DQB
Neiko Hollins
Missouri City (Tex.) Fort Bend Hightowe
Recruiting Wrap: Hollins is receiving interest from several schools but he has yet to receive his first scholarship offer.
Performance: Hollins is a big, athletic quarterback with a strong arm. His mechanics get away from him at times and his accuracy can suffer, but on Monday he did a nice job of staying on target. He did a nice job of putting the ball where his receiver could make a play and he put plenty of zip on his throws.
14
DQB
William Brown (2018)
Rosenberg (Tex.) Lamar Consolidated.
Recruiting Wrap: The recruiting process is just beginning for Brown. He plans to attend camps at Rice, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Houston
Performance: Brown is a tall, slender quarterback who stands tall in the pocket. He did a good job of keeping the ball high and showed a quick release. On Monday he threw with touch and placed the ball well. His deep ball was really nice as he put the ball on the money multiple times to receivers down the field. Keep Brown's name on file, because he has some tools that will draw plenty of college attention.
