Junior to Watch: Kyle Riggs

Position: Offensive Tackle
Size and Speed: Riggs is 6-foot-7 and 295-pounds. He has been timed at 5.20 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Honors: Riggs earned first-team all-league and all-state honors as an offensive tackle in 2002.
Favorite Schools: Riggs chose Missouri over Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State and Wisconsin.
Skinny: Riggs enters the 2003 season as the top offensive lineman in the Show Me State.
Missouri entered the race for Riggs’ talents when they put a scholarship offer on the table in late February. It didn’t take long for that offer to be accepted.
“Missouri offered me a scholarship and I accepted it,” Riggs said. “I had looked at several schools as possible places. It just felt right to go to Missouri when they offered.”
