Top Oklahoma LB almost committed
Oklahoma linebacker Lawrence Pinson has been winding down his official visits.
He lost his offer from Oklahoma and Nebraska took too long, but he has others.

"They (Oklahoma) pulled my scholarship in December. They were recruiting junior college players and they did not like that I was taking other visits."
The 6-foot-2, 246 pound linebacker returned from his visit to Oklahoma State with a good feeling.
"It went really good and to tell you the truth I almost committed, but I want to go to LSU this coming weekend."
He has a visit set for Texas A &M for January 25, but he doesn't think he will make that one, as he would like to make a decision by next week.
He is considering Missouri, Oklahoma State, Kansas and LSU with possibly Oklahoma State being the slight leader at this point.
"I think that I can go in and make an immediate impact."
Last season he had 93 tackles, five sacks, two fumble recoveries and around 15 tackles for loss.
