Does Hayes have a favorite?
"I like all of the teams that have offered me about the same. I will say that I have good relationships with Boston College, Virginia, and Michigan State though."
What does Hayes look for in a school?
"I want to go to a school that is known for their academics as well as their athletic programs. I want an opportunity to compete for a national championship and I want to play for a good coaching staff that will prepare me the best for a chance to play at the next level."
Last season, Hayes made 70 tackles, eight sacks, 2 interceptions and three defensive touchdowns. Hayes also was the leading rusher for Bayonne last season. Hayes rushed for over 1,100 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. What position does the standout athlete prefer?
"I doesn't really matter to me. I've played defense my whole life. Running back is new to me but I like it as well."
