Top Mississippi OL has top four

The Magnolia State’s top offensive line prospect says he’s still evaluating four schools which may eventually emerge as his leader.
“I don’t have a favorite right now,” said Southaven (Miss.) star Josh Winchell. “But I know I’m going to visit Arkansas, Michigan, Nebraska and South Carolina. I don't have any dates yet. I'm trying to figure out what my schedule looks like.

"Those are the main four, but someone else could jump in there before it’s all said and done. I just don’t know right now.”
The bullish Winchell (6-5, 310, 5.0) is ranked the No. 10 player in the state and the No. 23 offensive guard in the nation. He’s a pure power blocker who recorded more than 40 pancake blocks as a junior and should thrive in a run-oriented offense.
In addition to the Razorbacks, Wolverines, Cornhuskers and Gamecocks, he has scholarship offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Auburn.
Ole Miss is one of the hottest teams in the SEC right now – sporting a 3-0 league mark for the first time since 1970 – but Winchell says the Rebels haven’t exactly cracked his list of favorites.
“They’ve been OK, but I don’t put them on the same level with teams like Auburn and LSU and Georgia, teams that should win the conference,” he said. “I’ll be keeping an eye on them, tough.”
The Rebels play the Razorbacks this weekend, so that could be a key matchup in his recruiting process.
He’s made two unofficial visits to Ole Miss, two to Arkansas and one each to Mississippi State, Auburn and Memphis.
