The State of Florida pretty much puts out star football players just about everyday. Now, having a recruit with 38 scholarship offers is not a common occurence.
But, In the case of Miami Edison linebacker Nate Harris the state out did itself.
Harris is 6-foot-2 and 212 pounds. He has been timed at 4.48 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
But, what position will he use his talents at in college?
"It doesn't matter what position I play," he said. "I am being recruited to play both middle linebacker and outside linebacker."
What are the schools saying to you?
"They are all saying I can play immediately and that is exactly what I am looking for in a school," he said. "The academics are definately important, but playing time is very high on my list."
And your list?
"Right now Michigan State is at the top," he said. "I also like Florida, Louisiana State, Florida State, and Notre Dame. But, Michigan State has a definate lead. I have an official visit set up for September the 14th."
Will that visit lead to a decision?
"Only time will tell," he said. "Only time will tell."
