Top LB bumps Miami up his list

The state of Maryland is the home one of the best defenders in the country. Linebacker Wesley Jefferson has been courted by some big-time football programs from across the country including Florida State and Miami. Up to this point Jefferson had the Noles moving up his list. Now that he has had the time to meet and talk with several programs in May, he has replaced the Noles with the Miami Hurricanes. Why the switch?
“Miami is moving up my list,” Jefferson said. “I like’s Miami’s school setting. It’s a small school with only 8,000 students. Miami’s inside linebackers aren’t that strong, and I can compete for the starting spot as a freshman there.”

Jefferson told Flarecruiting.com that his top four schools are Maryland, Miami, Penn State, and Michigan State with all schools being even. He also said that he’s still considering Florida State and Notre Dame.
This summer Jefferson will attend Maryland’s football camp.
