Top 2011 linebacker Curtis Grant out of Richmond (Va.) Hermitage took an unofficial visit over the weekend. Where did the 6-foot-3, 222-pounder go and what did he think?
"I went up to Maryland," he said. "It was fun, but it was raining.

"I had trouble finding the building when I got there and I didn't stay too long, my sister got sick. I did get to talk to the coaches a bit and talk to Coach Friedgen."
How was his time with the Terrapins head coach?
"It was good talking to him," he said. "We didn't talk that much because he was getting ready for the game.
"I did watch them on defense and they had one end that was nice."
Grant plans to take more visits in the near future.
"I want to go elsewhere," he said. "I want to go to some of the Florida schools and Georgia," he said. "I'm going to try to visit Virginia Tech too."
Grant has played well this season for Hermitage.
"I'm trying, it's hard though because I've got to fight extra hard since teams are focusing on me. I think my hard work is paying off."
