Top juco player loves visit

The nation's top junior college player is back from his second official visit.
"I really liked what I saw at Tennessee this weekend," said Butler County (Kan.) Community College standout running back Ronald McClendon.

"I would give the visit an nine or a 10. It was really impressive. The stadium, the people and the atmosphere in general were incredible."
McClendon said he also liked the Vol Walk and the offensive system at UT. But he did have one thing that he didn't like that much.
"One thing that I liked about my visit to Arkansas (Nov. 16) better than at Tennessee, was that the players and coaches didn't interact as much as I thought they would," McClendon said.
"They coaches didn't spend as much time with the players. At Arkansas the coaches were with the players almost the entire time I was there."
But it was still a good enough visit to push Tennessee into the co-leader spot with Nebraska.
"As far as leader wise, I really like Tennessee and Nebraska still," McClendon said. "The coaches at Tennessee are great, and I think I could play running back, receiver and return kicks there. Nebraska wants me to come in and run the ball."
Arkansas coaches came and visited with McClendon on Monday. Nebraska coaches, including Frank Solich, will visit him today at practice.
