Top four for three-star DT

Rowlett (Texas) three-star defensive tackle Cedric Johnson is not ready to make a decision but he does have a few schools in mind as the 2013 season approaches.
The 6-foot-2, 280-pound defender has four teams he is watching closely at this point, and it appears Johnson will be watching a lot of Big 12 football.

"Right now the schools that really have my interest are Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Baylor, and Kansas State," Johnson said.
He is not ready to declare a leader or leaders out of his top four mainly because he has not been able to visit most of them. However, they are each in his top four for a reason.
Baylor - "Baylor was the first school to offer me and I went to their junior day, and I was really amazed by what I saw. I also took an unofficial visit again in February or March, and even in practice they really motivate their players and get them excited like it was an actual game. Just the overall environment I liked."
Kansas State - "They're a winning program and the fact I have a possibility of playing early. I really don't know that much about it. That's why I want to take a visit. To see what all they have to offer."
Oklahoma - "I don't know, they've just been a team since my sophomore year and the possibility of going there always kept my hopes high. Especially at that time I was watching a lot of them and I was just a true fan."
Oklahoma State - "They have also been one of the schools I wanted to pursue. I don't know why but there's just something about them that attracts me to their football team. And I have a friend whose brother played on the Oklahoma State team and I've just heard nothing but good things about the program."
He does plan to take a few visits during the season, and while he does not have a definite timetable he does have an idea about when he would like to decide..
"Maybe after I visit the schools I'm interested in I'll make a decision after that," Johnson said.
