Top five breakout candidates: West Region

Current offers: Air Force, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Colorado State, Kansas State, Nebraska, Nevada, Utah State and Wyoming.
The skinny: The three-star linebacker recently visited the Cornhuskers and also added offers from the Sun Devils and Golden Bears, but he might not be done. Other schools have also emerged as possibilities, including Michigan and some from the Pac-12. Domann was a top performer at the Las Vegas Pylon 7-on-7 national tournament, continuing a strong offseason following a junior campaign in which he was selected as the Colorado Defensive Player of the Year. The 6-foot-1, 208-pound prospect proved to be a solid tackler and standout two-way player, amassing 61 tackles and seven interceptions while hauling in 10 touchdown passes. Domann could open more eyes in a couple months at the Rivals Camp Series in St. Louis in May.
OT
Daniel Juarez
Corona (Calif.) Centennial
Current offers: Texas Tech, Washington State, Nevada and UNLV.
The skinny: Juarez is a physical, hard-nosed offensive tackle who really shined at the Rivals Camp Series in Las Vegas. With very little bad weight and a tough demeanor, Juarez has a lot of things coaches look for in an offensive tackle. The three-star has excellent size at 6-foot-5 and 292 pounds, he excels at overpowering defensive linemen and he also has light feet for someone his size. With pads on, he is a really tough blocker. Corona Centennial has churned out fierce linemen for years and Juarez could be next in line. Once college coaches meet him in person more offers could be coming because Juarez is an impressive physical specimen.
OG
Nate Herbig
Honolulu (Hawaii) St. Louis
Current offers: San Diego State.
The skinny: While four-star offensive tackle Michael Eletise has garnered a lot of attention in Hawaii by stockpiling more than 20 scholarship offers in recent months, Herbig quietly impressed at various events. He landed his first offer from San Diego State a couple weeks ago, but that could be just the beginning of a big surge once coaches drop by to check on highly regarded teammate Tua Tagovailoa for the spring evaluation period. As Eletise and three-star running back Vavae Malepeai have shown, a few offers could be all an island-based prospect needs to build recruiting momentum. Herbig is a powerful run blocker with the athleticism that could garner some serious looks in the months to come.
QB
Armani Rogers
Los Angeles (Calif.) Hamilton
Current offers: Rogers is committed to California. He also lists offers from UCLA and Utah.
The skinny: Rogers has been committed to Cal for some weeks, but once college coaches see him in person and see his throwing ability, there might be more schools that get involved. His pledge is firm to the Golden Bears, but that might not slow down his recruitment. If anything, Rogers said in recent weeks, things have actually been getting busier. He's a 6-foot-5 dual-threat quarterback who has an impressively strong arm and is still only scratching the surface of his ability. Those types of players don't come around too often, so Rogers could be getting a lot more attention in the coming months.
