Top five breakout candidates: Mid-South

Current offers: Interest has been picking up with Oklahoma State, Houston, Arizona State, Temple, Nevada, Utah, Texas A&M, Boise State and Mississippi State offers already on the table.
The skinny: Sterling-Cole transferred from West Orange-Stark to Houston Westfield before his junior season, and he faced a step up in competition. Over the last year, he has made some big strides as we saw first hand at the Rivals Speed & Skill Challenge Presented by Under Armour in Houston. He is an athletic quarterback with size who can put some nice zip on the ball. He has also shown some nice accuracy. He has already started to see his stock rise, and it should only continue in the spring as college coaches make their way to Westfield.
OG
Rowdy Frederick
Broken Arrow, Okla.
Current offers: Tulsa is the first school to extend a scholarship offer.
The skinny: Frederick has battled through some injuries as a junior but he now appears to be back on track. He has a great combination of size (6-5, 316) and strength and he has the mean, nasty mentality needed on the interior of the trenches. He works his feet well and he has plenty of upper body strength. Plus, college coaches definitely know the way to Broken Arrow and he will have a chance to turn some heads in the spring. In addition to his Tulsa offer, Arkansas and Oklahoma have expressed an interest.
ATH
Sewo Olonilua
Kingwood, Texas
Current offers: Olonilua is committed to TCU, but he lists offers from Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, California, Colorado State, and Houston.
The skinny: Olonilua committed to TCU early in the process, but college coaches continue to sniff around the 6-foot-2, 215-pound prospect. It is hard to imagine more offers are not on the way, especially after college coaches get a chance to see him in the spring. He is a big, athletic prospect with a nice 6-foot-2, 212-pound frame. He is a fluid athlete with nice feet, and he has the ability to play on both sides of the ball. He is being recruited at running back, safety, and linebacker, and he admits he prefers to play on the defensive side of the ball. TCU is recruiting him as a linebacker/safety prospect.
CB
Rajah Preciado
College Station (Texas)
Current offers: Preciado currently has no scholarship offers.
The skinny: It is a bit of a mystery why Preciado has not picked up more attention. He is a skinny guy (5-10, 178) but he has some nice length to him. He has quick feet, his hips are loose, and he is a standout on the track. On the football field, he is also a standout punt and kickoff return man. He has not picked up his first offer but he has received considerable interest from Texas, Texas A&M, Houston, Colorado, Cincinnati, and Baylor. Many schools are planning to stop by College Station in the spring.
