Top DT will visit in-state schools

The nation's top defensive tackle has been courted by nearly every program in the nation for months. But DeMario Pressley isn't overlooking the schools closest to home.
"Our season just ended like a week ago," said Pressley. "I had known all along I would wait to set my visits up until after our season ended. Now that it's over, there will be more time to dedicate to recruiting and looking at all of the schools that are calling me.
"I set up official visits to North Carolina and NC State," he said. "I'll be at NC State pretty soon, like Dec. 5 I think, and then I'm going to UNC on Jan. 9. I know I've also said that I would most likely visit Florida State too. I'll probably take all five visits before making a decision."
Many have their suspicions that North Carolina and Florida State are the two teams to beat for the nation's top defensive tackle.
"I know a lot of people are saying that, and some people have thought that all along. But I wouldn't be listening to all these other schools if I just liked those two," he insisted. "Those two are right up there of course, but there are others I'm interested in."
Pressley has also shown interest in Georgia, Miami and others. The exit of Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley from the state playoffs ends the high school careers of Pressley, Florida State commit Jamaal Edwards and North Carolina commit Martel Thatch.
