Irvington, N.J. defensive tackle Nathaniel Robinson is the best in the country at his position. He is still considering six teams, but has not put them in order.
"I went to the Rutgers-Miami game this weekend on an unofficial visit," said the 6-foot-4, 319-pounder. "I was really surprised at how Rutgers played them so hard, it was a good game until the fourth quarter."
So do the Hurriances still lead or has Rutgers snuck in ahead of them?
"No, Miami still leads," he said. "They're still the best team in the country. I like Rutgers too and they had a good showing."
Robinson listed his top six in order for us.
"Miami, Georgia, Michigan State, Maryland, Virginia and Rutgers is somewhere in there as well," he said. "I have all my officials set up and I know enough about Rutgers already."
Robinson is scheduled to visit Michigan State on Dec. 6, Georgia on Dec. 13, Miami on Dec. 20, Maryland on Jan. 10 and Virginia on Jan. 17.
"I'm waiting until Signing Day to announce anything," he said. "I want to see all five places and then make a smart decision. Like I said, Miami has the edge right now."
Robinson is out for the year with a knee injury.
