Top CB Whitlock adds huge SEC offer
Offers continue to come in for Chester, S.C. cornerback Charles Whitlock. In the past few days, the 5-foot-11, 172-pounder claimed two more scholarships including one big one from the SEC.
"I got new offers from Colorado and Florida," he said. "Florida offered me about two weeks ago. That's really big because it's a huge program. They are a good school and a good team. I've called one of their coaches already and he was a pretty nice guy, besides that the bowl games they go to are huge."

Despite being impressed with the Gator offer, Whitlock claims there are no favorites.
"I've got 14 offers right now, but it's still wide open," he said. "For me, I'm looking to go to big bowl games, a nice environment and somewhere I can get a good degree. Location doesn't really matter at all to me."
Meanwhile, this weekend Whitlock is planning to take an unofficial visit to Tennessee for their spring game.
