Paul Oliver was originally scheduled to be part of the Bulldogs' big
recruiting plans this weekend, but has rescheduled that trip.
"I wasn't able to make it this week," said Oliver, who
is recovering from a torn ACL and focusing on academics at present time. "I've
got some big finals coming up, so I've been studying hard.
"I would have liked to have been up there (in Athens),
though. They were supposed to be having a bunch of good players come in. I was
looking forward to talking to them, getting to know some of them, and maybe help
recruit a couple of guys."
Oliver (6-0, 185, 4.32), the nation's top corner
prospect, will now make his official visit on either Jan. 10 or 17.
Are there any other visits in the works?
"No, I doubt it," he said. "I'm real firm with my
commitment. I still hear from a few other teams, but I just tell them I'm happy
with my decision and ready to be a Bulldog."
