Top CB Has New Favorites
AJ Davis is one of the top cornerbacks in the nation. The 6-foot, 177-pounder from Durham (N.C.) Northern plans on visiting North Carolina and NC State very soon, and lists them as his leaders right now. However, football won’t be the only sport he plays in college.
"Both track coaches are in contact with me,” he said of UNC and NC State. “I would like to run track as well as football.”

Clocked at 4.3-seconds in the 40-yard dash, Davis flashes his speed on the football field as well as the track. He’s dangerous on defense, offense and as a return man on special teams.
As his team begins the playoffs, Davis has 33 catches for 600 yards and 10 touchdowns with four more touchdowns on kick returns. He is a four-star corner who is also listing Notre Dame (visited on Oct. 5), Alabama (Jan. 11 visit), Tennessee, Florida State and Missouri as well as his hometown teams.
