Top ATH Narrows To Six

Offers continue to roll in for one of the top recruits in the state of New Jersey. Safety Cory Boyd of Orange, N.J. has been taking calls from some of the top programs in the country since Sept. 1.
"It’s been crazy," said the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder who is also a standout running back. "My phone keeps ringing, but I’m enjoying it."

Cory does not have an official visit set up yet, but he does have his list of the top six schools he is strongly considering.
"My top six are pretty solid right now, I mean it could change a bit with a few of them, but right now I like these six."
Cory is listing Maryland and Virginia as schools that he will definitely visit, while Rutgers, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and NC State will battle for the next three spots.
"I would like to visit a few schools during the season on unofficial visits and then set my official visits up for after the season. I really like Maryland and Virginia and I should be setting up visit dates soon with both of them. The other schools are all still in it as well and I might be going to a Rutgers game in the next few weeks."
Although Cory rushed for 1,700 yards and scored 22 touchdowns as a junior, most all of the schools are recruiting him as a safety.
"It really doesn’t matter where I play in college. I like both offense and defense."
