Top ACC school for Hinton

Arlandis Hinton has been hearing from Duke for some time and the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco wide receiver is planning to visit there in early June.
The 6-foot, 170-pound prospect said he hopes a good showing at Duke's camp could lead to an offer and that it's been his dream school for a while.

Hinton didn't say he'd commit on the spot but the Blue Devils do look good in his recruitment.
"They said if I do well at the camp then I could get an offer from them and that's really exciting," Hinton said.
"That's really big. Duke is my favorite school right now. That's where I've been talking about going so if that happens that would be great. The academics and the education really stand out. If you get a degree from Duke, that's going to last me a lifetime."
Hinton, who looked good at the Passing Down Best of the West 7on7 tournament this past weekend in Santa Maria, Calif., said San Jose State, San Diego State, Utah, Cornell and Columbia have been showing interest as well.
Something else that stands out about Hinton is his versatility. His main position is wide receiver but when he plays with the 1925 All-Stars he also performs well at cornerback so either position is a possibility in college.
Hinton said he's open to both.
"They're keeping it open right now," Hinton said.
"They've only seen me play receiver in game situations and I just started playing corner for 1925. Right now it's receiver but I can play corner if I need to."
