Top 7 for Andrews

Columbus (Ohio) DeSales three-star defensive back Austin Andrews has been one of the hottest recruits in the Midwest the last couple months, and several schools have his attention.
"It has been crazy the last month and a half," Andrews said. "I have 20 offers now and am breaking it down. I have my top seven of schools I am really interested in."

That top seven consists of Boston College, Iowa, Louisville, Michigan State, Missouri, Pittsburgh and Wisconsin. He holds offers from each, except Michigan State.
"I am just waiting for Michigan State to offer now," Andrews said. "I like that school a lot and visited them last Thursday and had a good day up there. They were just happy I came up. They like to see the guys in-person and see their personality. Coach (Mark) Dantonio off the bat loved me and Coach (Harlon) Barnett loved me as well.
"As far as an offer, we talked about it (Tuesday) and they said when I was down there they were on the verge of offering me. They just want to see me run and move around, so next Wednesday during my morning lift Coach Tress and Coach Barnett are going to be down."
Andrews has another visit scheduled before the Spring Evaluation Period kicks off to another of his top seven.
"This Sunday I am going to Wisconsin to check them out," Andrews said. "They have been high on my list. I just want to learn a little more about it. I have heard a lot of great things, but just want to get to know the people. I know they have a nice campus, so that will be fun too."
Following the Wisconsin visit, Andrews is looking to attend Ohio State's spring game on April 18 and Michigan State's spring game on April 25. He is also trying to work out a date to visit Indiana this spring.
The 6-foot, 180-pound Andrews was a standout on both sides of the football for DeSales last season, rushing for 819 yards and ten touchdowns on offense and collecting 33 tackles, eight pass break ups and an interception on defense.
