Josh Delgado visited Washington this past offseason and loved it.
So the 2019 four-star wide receiver from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco was excited to return this past weekend and he had another fantastic trip.
It’s early but the Huskies definitely look good in his recruitment.
“I went up there in the spring and instantly fell in love with all the facilities and everything so this time we looked at the actual campus,” Delgado said.
“It was amazing. All the buildings and libraries were nice. I met a lot of cool people. Everyone was very nice and approachable. i definitely felt the love from the coaches and whole staff. Everything was very nice. I was able to see one of my good friends (Terrell) Bynum and catch up with him. It was an all-around great trip.”
So far, Delgado has landed offers from Arizona State, Boston College, Colorado, Nevada, Purdue, San Diego State, San Jose State, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
The local schools will definitely be considered as Delgado considers his recruitment and many other Pac-12 teams will get a close look as well.
The Huskies could be tough to beat though.
“Definitely an early favorite,” Delgado said of Washington.
“I've checked out a few other schools that I liked. I like, of course, USC and UCLA but also liked Utah. I also would love to check out ASU, Wazzu, Colorado and a few more.”
Delgado has 35 receptions for 667 yards and six touchdowns so far this season as Bosco prepares for a long playoff run.
