With a bunch of his teammates, Jude Wolfe visited Stanford two weekends ago and had a great time.

The 2019 three-star tight end did not land an offer from the Cardinal yet but the trip clearly impressed him and he’s hoping the Stanford coaching staff watches him closely through his junior season.

“I had a great time visiting and learning everything about Stanford,” Wolfe said.

“I was blown away by how incredibly strong their academics are, and the admissions process is no joke. Coach (Morgan) Turner said they loved how I did and coach (Mike) Eubanks said they were interested in me. I was told they'd keep in touch and that I should be hearing from them during the season.”

So far, Wolfe has landed offers from Arizona State, Boston College, Fresno State, Kansas State, Oregon, San Jose State, UCLA, USC, Utah and Western Michigan.

The 6-foot-6, 247-pound tight end said other Pac-12 schools have told him the same thing – that they want to take a close look during his junior season and then more offers could be coming in. Because Bosco is so loaded every season, Wolfe didn't have much of a chance last season to show his stuff.

The Stanford visit went well but it wasn’t his only one over that weekend.

Wolfe also stopped by UCLA for its unveiling of its new facility. There’s no doubt Wolfe and some other of his Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco were impressed by what they saw.

“The Wasserman football facility was unreal,” Wolfe said. “Every aspect of that place was incredible. I also had a great talk with coach Rip Scherer (about) his plans on recruiting me and the future of UCLA.”
