Top 2014 RB reeling in more offers

Junior running back Jonathan Hilliman of Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep had a very productive spring and summer which saw him collect 11 offers. That trend has continued since September 1st as the talented junior has added three more to his total.
"I'm receiving letters at school and at home everyday since September 1st," said Hilliman, who is 6-foot-0 and 201-pounds. "And I picked up three new offers from West Virginia, North Carolina and Louisiana-Lafayette."

Besides the 14 offers he already has, Hilliman mentioned that schools like Pittsburgh, N.C. State, Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame and Michigan State are also showing serious interest now. He also claims that Rutgers, North Carolina, Boston College and Oregon are currently recruiting him the hardest.
Despite all of these offers and new interest, Hilliman is planning to lay low during the fall.
"I'm going to take all of my visits after the season," he said. "I don't think I'm going to take any visits during the season. I'd probably have to match up my schedule."
On the field this season Hilliman has helped St. Peter's Prep to a quick 2-0 start.
"I've played very well lately," he said. "I'm over 300 yards with four touchdowns, three tackles, a sack and a defensive touchdown off a fumble."
During a 77-7 victory this past weekend, Hilliman actually rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns on only three carries.
"I hit the seams in the defense with more confidence now and I'd say that I've gotten faster," said Hilliman, who will look to continue his impressive start this Friday night against Kearny.
