Slaughter's decision will be broadcast on KHOU's digital cable channel in Houston (Comcast 310) and also carried live on the station's website.
Rivals.com will have full coverage of Slaughter's decision after he makes the announcement.
Slaughter had positive stuff to say about each team on his list.
"What can I say about Kansas State," Slaughter said.
"The atmosphere up there is insane. Rice has great academics. It's so hard to pass that up. I can really see myself playing there. That's what makes this decision so hard. At Oklahoma State it's football, football, football. They are always in the mix against the toughest teams. They've been to bowl games and have been around the Top 25 for years. Iowa State had the best facilities I've seen yet and I got to meet coach Gene Chizik."
