Top 100 LB makes changes

Winston-Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor linebacker A.J. Nicholson had tentively set up three visits to Florida State on Jan. 11, North Carolina on Jan. 18, and Tennessee on Jan. 18. Has anything changed?
“Yes there have been a few alterations,” Nicholson said. “I am still going to Florida State this weekend, but I am going to Miami on the Jan. 18, Tennessee on the Jan. 25, and North Carolina on the Feb. 2.”

Heading into the weekend visit to FSU, Nicholson said he still does list Texas as his top team.
“They are still up there,” he said. “I want to take my other officials (visits) and blow it wide open. Texas rolled out the red carpet for me, and I will use that as a measuring stick. It helped me see what I need to look for in the others.”
So what is he looking for in a school?
“Academics are the No. 1 priority on my list,” Nicholson said.
“All five of my final schools have good academics. What it will come down to are the people. How I get along with the coaches, players, and the people on campus. This is an important decision that I don’t want to rush because this is where I will spend the next four or five years of my life.”
These five schools will probably have to wait till signing day to find out where Nicholson. is going. Not only will that school get a great football player, but also a great kid off of it.
