Toohill garners another Pac-12 offer

Casey Toohill has had some meaningful conversations with Washington and they've seen him work out this spring and the Huskies came through with his latest offer on Tuesday.
It's definitely an important offer for the San Diego (Calif.) Cathedral Catholic linebacker who has a busy summer schedule.

"They came and watched me at spring practice so they got to watch me already," Toohill said. "I didn't really talk to them or anything because I know we're not allowed to talk. Then their recruiting coordinator for San Diego talked to my head coach.
"Over the last two weeks we've been in contact, I sent them some 7on7 film, we've talked about it and the defensive coordinator just called me (Tuesday) and told me he wants to get me to campus."
Taking an unofficial visit to Washington is definitely being considered by Toohill but because of his hectic camp schedule he's not sure when he'll squeeze it in. Getting an offer from the Huskies is noteworthy in his recruitment for sure.
"It's a huge offer," Toohill said. "It's early so I'm still trying to figure some stuff out and of course I need to go visit there to see what it's like. I'm excited because I know of the great athletic and academic reputation of Washington.
"I've had some friends and some friends of friends who went there and loved it so I'm exciting about it.
"I'm definitely going to try to get up there this summer. I just need to work out the details of when because I'm going to a lot of camps so I need to figure out when I'm going to take my unofficial up there."
So far, Toohill has been offered by Washington, Dartmouth, Harvard, Nevada, San Diego State, Utah, Utah State and Yale.
His summer schedule is loaded with camp stops at Boston College, Duke, Stanford, Notre Dame, UCLA and USC in the coming weeks.
"I'm going all around," Toohill said.
