Tonga re-schedules last visit

We caught up briefly with San Mateo (Calif.) Aragon defensive lineman Matangi Tonga. The talented rush end, recently named 1st team all-state for the second year in a row, was scheduled to visit Oregon this past weekend but will now be in Eugene this weekend.
"I missed my flight," Tonga said. "I'm going to be visiting this weekend now and everything else is still the same for me. My two schools are Oregon and BYU and I'm hoping to have my decision by sometime next week. Right now, everything is pretty much dead even between those two.

"I had a great visit to BYU and learned a lot about the program. It's a good fit for me there and I know I would be comfortable being there because it's the church school. With Oregon, they have a great football program and I like how they have a lot of Poly (Polynesian) players in the program. It's going to be a tough decision and I should have a better idea of what I want to after my visit this weekend."
Tonga, 6-1, 265 pounds is a great looking defensive prospect who could play end or tackle in college. He has a big frame and should have no problem gaining the weight necessary to move to tackle. At the same time, he's very explosive coming off the edge and would make a fine pass rusher coming around the corner if he stayed at end.
