Tommy Z back from Iowa City
Tommy Zbikowski of Buffalo Grove, Ill., has become somewhat of a cult figure with fans from Nebraska, Iowa and Notre Dame. Now with a Notre Dame trip under his belt, the four-star athlete is back from his visit to Iowa.
And it was a visit that left a good impression.

“It was everything I expected,” he said. “I had a lot of things I wanted to see and check out. I liked what I saw. I’d say that it was a really strong visit and that Iowa is really going to be a team that I think about.”
Zbikowski is now heading to Nebraska next for a visit.
“I can’t wait to see what it’s like there, too,” he said.
He’s also set up to visit Arizona State and Boston College in January, but if things continue to go between the three teams of NU, Notre Dame and Iowa, it could be something that propels Zbikowski to an American Idol status.
