Tolliver looking forward to spring

With one of his teammates already having a commitment in the books, Mansfield (Texas) Timberview fullback Jay Tolliver is starting to watch his recruiting process pick up.
Tolliver, the 5-foot-10, 206-pounder, has been hearing from several different schools as of late. Coaches from LSU and Oklahoma apparently will make a stop at Timberview to watch spring practice. Those two schools current sit at the top of the list for Tolliver.

"Those would be my top two," Tolliver said. "Those are the two schools I'm really looking forward to seeing come down for spring. I felt comfortable with them when I visited there. I went to Oklahoma last month and LSU was a few weeks before that. Plus, I watched them on television when I was younger."
Other schools that Tolliver has been hearing from in the past included Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, and TCU.
Tolliver also has camp plans including a camp stop at Colorado and the NIKE Training Camp in Fort Worth, Texas at the end of the month. He also says that he's unsure of when he'll make a commitment.
"I really have to talk all of that over with my parents," he said. "Most likely, if one of those schools that I'm really interested in offers, I would make the decision then."
