The talented 6-foot-5, 180-pounder said in a recent interview that his revolving top five now included Southern Cal, who recently offered, along with LSU, Oklahoma, Miami, and Texas Tech. Apparently, he doesn't want to limit his options.
"Well, actually, I just want everyone to know that I'm back to wide open again," Toliver said. "I've had a changing top five all along, but I think it's best if I just keep it open."
One thing that set off his recent change in his favorites list included a few interested colleges still making themselves known.
"Well, like I said, I've talked to a lot of colleges that are interested in me and I'm trying to take some visits first," Toliver said. "My coach also got a lot of calls the other day thinking that I had cut my list down to five. I just want to check all the schools out first before I start naming favorites.
"I'm not doing that right now. I'm open - open to everyone."
The offer count not only included his previous top five, but also offers from Arizona, Nebraska, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Baylor to name a few.
Toliver was a first-team all-district selection and a second-team all-region pick after his junior year. That season included 26 receptions for 515 yards and six touchdowns.
He averaged 22.4 yards per catch.
